The Skyline Trail
July 27-28, 2005

After spending a night camping near Jasper, we caught the Maligne Lake Shuttle to reach the southern end of the Skyline Trail.  The Skyline is touted as one of the best trails in the Canadian Rockies, so we just had to check it out.  The trail totals 29 miles (15 of which are above tree line) and we planned on hiking it in just two days.  Fortunately our packs would be under 30 pounds--much lighter than when we hiked into the Bugaboos!
